​Theoretical + Practical

​This full-time training course provides the basic knowledge (theoretical training), the basic experience (practical training),  ​and the maximum discount in terms of required practical experience (3 years) to apply the EASA Part-66 Aircraft  ​ ​Maintenance License (AML) as for 66.A.30 (Part-66).

​Category - B1.1 (Aeroplanes Turbine) / B1.3 (Helicopters Turbine) / B2 (Avionics)


​Objective

​1 ​Get the required basic knowledge levels as defined in the Part-66 regulation.

​2  ​Get a basic competence/experience in performing safe maintenance, inspections and scheduled ​works according to the aircraft maintenance instructions.

​Timelines

​• 2400 hours, 60% theoretical and 40% practical
​• trained in English

​Training activities are divided into theoretical (1440 hours) and practical (960 hours).
​Theoretical activities (6 hours a day) are performed into classrooms by morning and afternoon sessions.
​Practical activities (7/8 hours a day) are performed into hangar and workshops (metal sheet and electrical/electronic) by  ​morning and afternoon sessions.

​year 1 ​​​Theoretical Training

​ ​ ​ ​​Mainly based on lectures and exams for modules applicable to Cat. B1.1 Module 12 review and                                   exam will be available for those students willing to get Cat.B1.3.

​year 2 ​​ ​Practical Training

​ ​ ​​​Students will perform practical training in our maintenance facilities. 30% of the practical     ​training will be ​perform in real maintenance (MRO) working environment. Internship period in ​    Italy/Europe will be  available too.

​graduates ​ ​ ​After completing 2 years of BTC (2400 hours)

​          After course completion, students will be able to apply for EASA Part-66 License in as short                                        as 2 ​years.
​ ​ ​ ​​​Wefly will issue a certificate of recognition for all applicable modules (classroom, exam                                               and assessment, if ​required) under EASA Part-147. Additional minimum of 2 years experiences                                   of work in ​Part-145/MRO​​ permits the students to apply for the EASA Part-66 Aircraft                                                   Maintenance ​​License.
​ ​ ​                       ​*Without Basic Training Course, a 5 years work experience is required for the same EASA Part-                                   66 Aircraft Maintenance License.


​Theoretical Training

module training + exams: 1440 hours

At the end of each training module an exam is held (Multi Choice Question and/or Essay question). The minimum pass  ​rate is 75 % as for EASA regulations.

Part-66 includes 17 modules. Here after modules applicability as for Category/Sub-Category.


























Practical Training

960 hours

Students will perform practical training in our maintenance facilities.
30% of the practical training will be perform in real maintenance (MRO) working environment.

Practical training refers to module 07, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 and 17 as for the applicable category/sub-category.

Apply for AML license in as short as 2 years after graduation


Our Basic Training Courses are certified courses in accordance to EASA Part-66 regulations, therefore, students who graduate from our course can apply for Aircraft Maintenance License in as short as 2 years working In certified Part-145 (MRO) after graduation.

B1.1
Aeroplanes Turbine


Privileges:
A category B1.1 airplane maintenance license shall permit the holder to issue certificates of release to service and to act as B1.1 support staff following:
- maintenance performed on airplane structure, powerplant and mechanical and electrical systems,
- work on avionic systems requiring only simple tests to prove their serviceability and not requiring troubleshooting.

Category B1 includes the corresponding A subcategory.

B1.3
Helicopters Turbine


Privileges:
A category B1.3 helicopter maintenance license shall permit the holder to issue certificates of release to service and to act as B1.3 support staff following:
- maintenance performed on helicopter structure, powerplant and mechanical and electrical systems,
- work on avionic systems requiring only simple tests to prove their serviceability and not requiring troubleshooting.

Category B1 includes the corresponding A subcategory.


B2
Avionics


Privileges:
A category B2 aircraft maintenance license shall permit the holder:
a. to issue certificates of release to service and to act as B2 support staff for following:
- maintenance performed on avionic and electrical systems, and
- electrical and avionics tasks within powerplant and mechanical systems, requiring only simple tests to prove their serviceability, and
b. to issue certificates of release to service following minor scheduled line maintenance and simple defect rectification within the limits of tasks specifically endorsed on the certification authorization referred to in point 145.A.35 of Annex II (Part-145). This certification privilege shall be restricted to work that the license holder has personally performed in the maintenance organization which issued the certification authorization and limited to the ratings already endorsed in the B2 license.
The category B2 license does not include any A subcategory.
